UPSC CAPF 2020 Topper interview AIR 29 Aishwarya Upadhyay – Strategy, Mistake to avoid, Syllabus
- Interviewer – Please tell us about Yourself
Aishwarya – I have done my graduation from Prestige Institute of Management and Research Indore, Madhya Pradesh But I always wanted to join forces. I also gave the NDA exam after 12th. In my final year I also gave the CDS exam which I cleared in the first attempt and secured AIR 41 but due to some medical condition I couldn’t join the forces. That’s why I decided to appear for the CAPF exam.
- Interviewer – Consistency is a very important factor. How did you keepet yourself consistent?
Aishwarya – Maintaining consistency is a challenge in itself. I was able to maintain this consistency because of my goal, I was clear I wanted a uniform. People look at it as a job vacancy i see it as a way of life
- Interviewer – How was the journey from choreographer to officer. How do you see yourself like this?
Aishwarya – It was difficult initially because choreography is a very different field and preparing for UPSC is very different from it but i realised i am more than just a dancer there are things within me which can help the society at large which can help this nation, so how can i make the best use of it.
- Interviewer – How to strategize How to match your mindset to UPSC CAPF level
Aishwarya – First step is planning everything which exam you want to appear in, what are the requirements and specifically if you talk about CAPF. You see the syllabus, divide your time between paper 1 and paper 2 solve previous year papers with its help you will know where you stand.
- Interviewer- How to read the NCERT according to the demands of the exam
Aishwarya – You have to clear your foundations to clear the exam and foundation will be clear only from NCERT.It is very important to clear the basics from NCERT. First study from the NCERT then open the NCERT note and after that go for the reference books.
- Interviewer – How was your interview experience, what kind of questions were asked and how did you tackle them
Aishwarya – It was actually a great experience. It was more like a conversation where they wanted to know my opinions about things, they wanted to understand my personality and how I perceive the things. I think your interview depends on your detailed application form. Prepare well with what details you fill in the form.
