Artificial IntelligenceAI, in layman’s terms, is ‘prediction’ using algorithms and data. When a machine uses intelligence to learn from the past data, it mimics ‘human-like’ ability. Hence the term ‘artificial intelligence’. (Binay Panda)

The fundamental principle behind AI has existed for many decades. What has now changed is our capability to rapidly acquire or generate a large amount of data and use it to derive meaningful conclusions using powerful computers.
Nano-technologyNanotechnology is science, engineering, and technology conducted at the nanoscale, which is about 1 to 100 nanometers. One nanometer is a billionth of a meter. Physicist Richard Feynman is considered as the father of nanotechnology.

Science deals with the fundamental knowledge of everything. Engineering is the application of Science to solve problems. Technology describes the product of Engineering, rather than the engineering process itself.
BiotechnologyThe manipulation (as through genetic engineering) of living organisms or their components to produce useful usually commercial products. (Merriam Webster)
RoboticsThe branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots.
